I have been developing people since 2004, I am a Coach, Mentor, Leader, Manager, and Educator; I believe that in order to grow one has to invest in others so that we can develop together. Social media is the gateway to connecting with people in the 21st century. LinkedIn is an employer’s choice "go-to" for seeking out employee's today. Even if you are not actively looking for employment, you never know who you will meet or what you will find.
Active social media participants beware, employers will look at your profiles of any social media you choose to participate in no matter if you have a public or private profile. My advice to everyone is to keep it old school, keep it professional.
